Lapikas strives to organize diverse events for its members. Here we have a few annual events, some of which are rather traditional.
Pönttärit
The celebration of the beginning of the autumn semester, all the people of Lapikas gather in front of the university by the statues and enjoy tasty selfmade wine together.
Sitsit
A three-course dinner party (usually themed) with its own traditions including eating, drinking, singing and cheering.
Hot For Teacher
To celebrate World Teacher's Day, Lapikas and TAO organize this event and participants will be able to dress according to the theme as either teachers or students.
Leirikari
Lapikas and Lastu organize a memorable weekend at Leirikari for education students. Too much can't be revealed what it's about because "What happens in the Leirikari, stays in Leirikari".
Annual Ball
Lapikas Annual Ball congratulates our aging student organization with great speeches, good food and guests are dressed up to the nines.
School's Out
